![]() Now head back to the surface to find the remainging treasure in this area.Pikmin is one of my favourite series. Haul the bug's remains and the treasure back to the pod, which will upgrade your running speed and weight, allowing you to not get blown away by blasts of air. Repeat the throw, whistle, and dodge technique while simultaneously combatting the weaker enemies the boss throws at you to win the battle. Start throwing as many Pikmin onto the massive Emperor Bug as you can, whistling for them just as the creature begins to shake them off.Īt this point, the enemy will start to roll around, killing both Pikmin and the small enemies alike. When you reach the top, you will be ready to begin your tussle with the boss. The eighth sublevel has a ton of small enemies that will continually attack the Pikmin, so try to run by them as quickly as you can without interacting much. Walk ahead of the Pikmin carrying the treasure to make sure no rocks are threatening to crush them from above. Once they're gone, you can take on the larger versions with repeated Purple Pikmin whomps to get them out of the way without a struggle.īe sure to advance slowly so falling rocks do not crush all of your Pikmin while simultaneously killing enemies and hauling treasures. Sublevel seven starts with some smaller enemies just begging for a Purple Pikmin stomp to finish them quickly. Try to avoid any confrontation with the artillery enemies while collecting the three treasures of this floor, allowing the team to head directly for the passage down to the next area. This is a dangerous mix that can dramatically reduce your numbers. The bombs stun your Pikmin, leaving them open for the artillery enemies to obliterate. The seventh sublevel has explosive bombs and artillery lobbing enemies that must have Pikmin thrown onto them from the side from close range. Ignore the geyser and head down to the next area of the cave. Stun the spiders by throwing a Purple Pikmin on or near them, then swarm them to defeat them. If that wasn’t enough, there are also regular spiders and poisonous spiders that White Pikmin can handle, some of which are hiding treasures. Adding to that headache are electrical bugs that only Yellow Pikmin can defeat, as well as bomb-dropping bugs. Sublevel six is the reason all the White Pikmin flowers were found two floors above, as poison emitters are scattered throughout the area. Once the way is clear, grab the three treasures, watching out for bombs falling from above, and head down to the next level. Repeat this pattern until the creature falls. Throw Pikmin onto the rock creature until he shakes them off, at which point Olimar should whistle to the thrown-off Pikmin so they will not get crushed by the next rock. ![]() The third sublevel contains fire spouts that the Red Pikmin can clear out while advancing cautiously to kill the rock-spitting enemies. After clearing the entire area of these menaces, harvest the enemy carcasses as well as two treasures before dropping down to the next area. The floating enemies drop bombs, so hit-and-run tactics will have to be used. As you move around, take about 40 Pikmin and kill off all the floating enemies. They will explode once that meter reaches zero. Sublevel two has a lot of explosive obstacles, so run from them as soon as their life meter starts dissipating. ![]() Note that the flies will grab the two captains, so throw Yellow Pikmin into it before it can grab them, dragging it down so all Pikmin can kill it. The first sublevel of the Subterranean Complex offers enemies, poisonous emitters, and two treasures. Bring the White Pikmin toward the poisonous gate the water beast was guarding so they can destroy it and enter the cave. ![]()
